You may not need a new logo or a complete website rebuild. Sometimes the first problem is that people cannot tell who the offer is for, what they receive or why they should consider it. This review is a smaller starting engagement for a service business that needs to resolve those questions before commissioning a larger project.
The starting scope
One offer. Up to three touchpoints.
We review one business offer and up to three supplied customer touchpoints. A useful combination could be a homepage introduction, a service page and an enquiry reply. The proposal confirms the exact material and questions before work begins.
- Clarity of the audience, offer and next step.
- Consistency of service names, messages and promises.
- Gaps between a claim and the evidence available.
- What should be kept, clarified or investigated next.
What you receive
A usable decision document.
- A written summary of the main clarity issues, with examples from the material reviewed.
- A proposed positioning statement for discussion.
- Three short message rewrites for the agreed touchpoints.
- A prioritised action list distinguishing wording changes, design needs and unanswered research questions.
- One focused clarification round on the findings and editable document files.
The findings are recommendations, not a promise of higher sales, rankings or conversion rates.
What we need from you
Share the offer you want to clarify, the customer you want to help, the supplied materials and any genuine feedback you already have. Name one person who can approve the direction. Public links and redacted examples are usually enough for an initial discussion. Do not send passwords, customer records or confidential information through the enquiry form.
How the review works
- Agree the question. We confirm the offer, material, scope, fee and schedule in a proposal. Paid work starts only after those terms are agreed.
- Inspect and explain. We identify the unclear decisions and draft alternatives using the information provided. Assumptions and evidence gaps remain visible.
- Review and hand over. We discuss the findings, complete the agreed clarification round and hand over editable recommendations with the next priorities.
What is outside this review
A complete visual identity, logo design, website implementation, full website copy, paid customer research, competitor research programmes, legal or trademark clearance, campaign production and ongoing management are separate services. If the review reveals a need for them, we explain it before proposing additional work. You are not required to commission a larger project.
Timing, revisions and support
The proposal confirms availability and delivery timing after we understand the material and your review availability. We do not promise a universal turnaround. One clarification round concerns the agreed findings; a new audience, additional offer or later rewrite is new scope. Any continuing implementation or support is agreed separately.
Is this the right starting point?
It can suit a business with an established service but an unclear introduction, inconsistent messages or uncertainty about whether a rebrand is justified. A new business still deciding what to sell may need a broader strategy engagement first. A business with a clear offer and a broken website may need development or UX work instead.
Start with the question you need to resolve
Tell us what feels unclear.
Describe the offer, the intended customer and the material you would like reviewed. We will confirm whether this scope is suitable before proposing paid work.
